iPhone 5 black & slate holding lock screen

The iPhone 5 is all the rage right now, and we'll have our thorough review up in just a few hours. In the meantime, we've put up an image gallery showing off the black & slate model. This is the one that's features a black anodized bezel and rear metal backing to match the dark glass. It's quite beautiful, but prone to scraches and scuff. Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7

Amazon's new Kindle Fire HD is now available, sporting its 1280x800 display and stereo speaker goodness. We've got one in-hand, and are preparing our full Kindle Fire HD (7-inch) review as we speak, but in the meantime, we've put together a gallery of images showing off the hardware. As you'll see, even just on the outside, it's a nice upgrade from the original Kindle Fire hardware. Also, the Special Offers aren't anywhere near as bad as people made them out to be. Google Nexus 7 tablet with Jelly Bean

We know that the 16 GB Google Nexus has been hard to acquire, but we've been able to get our hands on one and are working diligently on getting our review posted. In the meantime, as is typical with us, we've put up an extensive Nexus 7 unboxing gallery. As you'll see, the tablet is fantastically built and is a great size for one-handed use. Google has put together a tablet that's a joy to use, but more on that in our upcoming Nexus 7 review. For now, enjoy the photos!

Nexus 7 tablet

We cover a bunch of products in our unboxing section and on Unboxing Live, and we've gotta say that we're intrigued by how frustratingly bad the experience seems to be when trying to open up your new Google Nexus 7 tablet, made by Asus. Our unit got delayed and won't be in the office until next week, but in the meantime, check out the hard times that others have had trying to get the Nexus 7 tablet out of the box in the video compilation after the break. The Verizon verison of the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone goes on sale on July 10th, but we were able to snag our unit a few days early. We're actively working on a full Samsung Galaxy S III review, and as normal, we're kicking things off with a bunch of photos. We're currently readying our Western Digital My Net N900 HD router review, and in the meantime we wanted to hit you with some images of the fantastic piece of networking gear. The My Net N900 HD makes QoS super easy, and will eliminate the need for a switch on larger wired home networks as well.
