LUMOback started as a Kickstarter project aimed to helping people maintain proper posture throughout the day. The pitch was successful, and now LUMOback is a reality. We open up the LUMOback posture sensor and give you a look at what it does and how it works. It connects to your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad over Bluetooth 4.0, and alerts you when your posture is bad throughout the day, so that you can improve it over time, resulting in less aches and pains, and more energy!

If you own both a TiVo Premiere DVR and any iOS device (especially an iPad,) you should take a moment to check out the new TiVo Stream if you haven't already. What is TiVo Stream? In short, it's a device to connect to your home network that allows you to stream your recorded TiVo shows to your iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad--up to four devices at a time. Additionally, you can also copy over shows from your DVR to watch on the go. The white and silver iPhone 5 is more akin to the iPhone 4S than the black and slate model, mostly due to the color of the antenna frame. Still, there are plenty of differences that make the iPhone 5 that much more striking than the 4S that came before it. The iPhone 5 is all the rage right now, and we'll have our thorough review up in just a few hours. In the meantime, we've put up an image gallery showing off the black & slate model. This is the one that's features a black anodized bezel and rear metal backing to match the dark glass. It's quite beautiful, but prone to scraches and scuff. Nest aims to manage the heating and cooling in your house by learning your usage patterns alongside built-in motion sensors that are used to tell when you are and aren't home. You can control Nest directly from the unit, as well as from anywhere that you have an Internet connection through the browser. It also has smartphone apps that allow you to control it directly from your mobile device. The more you interact with Nest, the more it learns about your preferences, and it will continually tune itself to your preferences and schedule. We wanted to make sure we had both the white and black models in-hand prior to the photo shoot.
