MacBook Pro 2009 unboxing gallery

At , aside from introducing the world to the , Apple also introduced a newly redesigned MacBook Pro. The MacBook Pro 2009 revision does away with the removable battery, but replaces it with a battery that lasts up to 7 hours. Oh, and we mean a real 7 hours, we’ve tested it. Also, the ExpressCard slot has been removed, and in its place we now have an SD card slot. The MacBook Pro will even boot off of an SD card if you tell it to.

Not much has changed on the iMac front, although the price has gone down and the screen size has increased from 20-inch to 24-inches for the standard model. You also get the new graphics chipset as well, which results in a nice speed boost in the graphics department. Dell Adamo unboxing video

If you’ve been wondering what the new “World’s thinnest notebook” looks like, hit up the video above which features the new Adamo. The 0.65-inches thin laptop is the first in Dell’s luxury Adamo line, featuring a 13.4-inch 16:9 display, full-sized backlit keyboard, three USB ports, eSATA, 802.11n, Bluetooth, 2GB RAM, and a 128GB SSD drive, all housed in beautiful machined aluminum. The Adamo is available in both Onyx (black) and Pearl (silver) colors, and weighs about four pounds. Enough talking, we know. Hit up the video to get a look at the device.

First up, we bring you an unboxing gallery for the newly redesigned MacBook. It’s made of aluminum, and looks like a miniature MacBook Pro. Unboxing Live 036: HP Pavilion DV6885SE Special Edition notebook

We open up the Pavilion DV6885 notebook in this edition of Unboxing Live. We were completely amazed back when we saw it at , because of what we consider to be the machine’s striking beauty. If you are looking for a computer that goes against the status quo in the looks department, check this one out. The copper finish (which I believe is officially called “Clay” by HP) is as against the grain as you are going to get - plus, the specs aren’t too shabby either. Unboxing Live 032: OLPC XO-1 - One Laptop Per Child

In this episode of Unboxing Live, we open up the OLPC XO-1. If that doesn’t sound familiar, this is the infamous One Laptop Per Child computer, aimed to help children in third-world countries with learning. The XO-1, previously known as the $100 Laptop or Children’s Machine, is an inexpensive laptop computer intended to be distributed to children in developing countries around the world, to provide them with access to knowledge, and opportunities to “explore, experiment and express themselves”. The laptop is developed by the One Laptop per Child (OLPC) social welfare organization, and manufactured by the Taiwanese computer company, Quanta Computer.
