The iPad Air 2 is 20% thinner than the original iPad Air, and sports the A8X 64-bit processor and 2GB RAM, making it super-fast and able to cache more app data. Microsoft's Windows 8 has arrived, and alongside it, the Microsoft Surface tablet with Windows RT has been released! Surface is Microsoft's first first-party tablet PC device that it has ever released, and we were able to get our hands on it a little early to give you a look at what you'll find in the box. While we prepare our full Surface review, check out our unboxing video above where we give you a look at the tablet, the Touch Cover, and the setup process!
Amazon's new Kindle Fire HD is now available, sporting its 1280x800 display and stereo speaker goodness. We've got one in-hand, and are preparing our full Kindle Fire HD (7-inch) review as we speak, but in the meantime, we've put together a gallery of images showing off the hardware. As you'll see, even just on the outside, it's a nice upgrade from the original Kindle Fire hardware. Also, the Special Offers aren't anywhere near as bad as people made them out to be. Go ahead and check out our Amazon Kindle Fire HD (7-inch) unboxing gallery, and stay tuned for our review.
We know that the 16 GB Google Nexus has been hard to acquire, but we've been able to get our hands on one and are working diligently on getting our review posted. In the meantime, as is typical with us, we've put up an extensive Nexus 7 unboxing gallery. As you'll see, the tablet is fantastically built and is a great size for one-handed use. Google has put together a tablet that's a joy to use, but more on that in our upcoming Nexus 7 review. For now, enjoy the photos!

We cover a bunch of products in our unboxing section and on Unboxing Live, and we've gotta say that we're intrigued by how frustratingly bad the experience seems to be when trying to open up your new Google Nexus 7 tablet, made by Asus. Our unit got delayed and won't be in the office until next week, but in the meantime, check out the hard times that others have had trying to get the Nexus 7 tablet out of the box in the video compilation after the break. Oh, and don't forget--we're giving away a Nexus 7 this week!
Our new iPad review is
coming later today live, but in the meantime we've put together a gallery showing off the beautiful device. Check out our Apple iPad (3rd generation) unboxing gallery to get a look, and be sure to check out our thorough iPad review (featuring a bunch of video) later today!
We open up the brand new iPad (3rd generation) in this episode. The new iPad (or iPad 3, as some call it) from Apple features an amazing Retina display, A5X processor with quad-core graphics, and optional 4G LTE from Verizon or AT&T. It's a nice upgrade from the previous iPad 2, and is the best tablet for the money that you can get today. In fact, you can get one right now from Apple. All you'll find in the box is the iPad tablet itself, along with a sync cable and AC adapter for charging, and that's really it. Not much to this one, but not to worry, we'll have plenty more iPad (3rd Generation) videos for you soon, including some LTE speed tests.
